Date format: this year is 02024
By Forumite @ 2024-02-12T00:42 (–5)
I recently noticed that some people, instead of writing the date in the normal way, add a zero at the beginning of the year.
So, we are now in February 02024.
WW2 started in 01939.
Etc...
I assume that the intention here is to give a psychological nudge towards thinking in a more longtermist way.
For me, I think it actually works.
I just thought this was interesting and thought-provoking, and wanted to share it...

This seems weird. We don't write 0156 for the year 156. I think this is likely to cause confusion.
