We’re excited to share an interview with Jaipal Gill, the latest entry in our Career Journeys series. These interviews aim to give a glimpse into a wide range of career paths, exploring how people have navigated different fields and what their day-to-day actually looks like.

Jaipal is currently Programme Director at Welfare Matters, an organization working in farmed animal welfare in Southeast Asia. But before this, he explored a range of interesting avenues, like completing a veterinary degree, undertaking the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program, and directing a large animal welfare charity in Singapore. 

Our conversation with Jaipal covered some interesting topics, such as how having a wide range of experiences can help you throughout your career, as well as his thoughts on how veterinarians can get involved in advocating for animal welfare.
