Weronika Zurek 🔸

I first joined Effective Altruism when I started volunteering in Anima International in 2017 and I stayed in the organisation until 2023. For two years I was the coordinator of Anima International's polish capaign against live carp sales, which I later decided to close. Later I set up an EA university group in Kraków, Poland, which I led for 1.5 years. In January 2026, I joined Astra Fellowship as a Fieldbuilding Fellow and I am planning to build a career in this field.

I hold a Master's degree in applied psychology. I usually spend my free time doing arts (painting, drawing, crocheting, sewing, and others) or engaging in physical activities (cycling, running, dancing, swimming, climbing trees).
