Josephine Schwab

I am a futurist and interdisciplinary strategist with experience spanning governance, foresight, and international coordination. Currently completing an MA in Global Diplomacy: Europe (University of London), as well as a Veritas Research Fellowship with The Midas Project on AI Corporate Accountability, I work across research, advocacy, and community-led development, focusing on how anticipatory governance and resilience frameworks can mitigate systemic risks. My roles include Senior Research Fellow (European Institute of Policy Research & Human Rights), International Justice News Writer for Platform for Peace and Humanity, working with Volt Europa in pan-European strategy, a reviewer for the Journal of Deliberative Democracy, and UK Country Representative for the Global Ecovillage Network. I am interested in how futures methods can strengthen responses to existential risks, from AI governance to European security, while drawing on lessons from resilience movements.
