Innovations for Poverty Action
Within EA, Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) may be best known as a major source of randomized control trial (RCT) evidence within the field of global health and development. We work in 20+ countries in partnership with implementers, policymakers, and researchers to identify and research cost-effective solutions to global poverty challenges. In addition, IPA works across two other pillars that are relevant to the EA community: (1) engagement with policymakers and practitioners to ensure that evidence is used at scale, and (2) helping funders and implementers strengthen their own use of data and evidence (in particular through IPA's Right Fit Evidence Unit and Embedded Evidence labs).
