Observatorio de Riesgos Catastróficos Globales (ORCG) is a scientific diplomacy organization that emerged in February 2023 to formulate governance proposals that allow the comprehensive management of different global risks in Spanish-speaking countries. We connect decision-makers with experts to achieve our mission, producing evidence-based publications. In this context, we have worked on several projects on advanced artificial intelligence risks, biological risks, and food risks such as nuclear winter. learn more about our work in Recap 2023.
We are working with officials and researchers in Spanish-speaking countries to promote policies and initiatives to this end. Join our team today and help us create institutional ties and research policies appropriate to the Spanish-speaking context.

General details
- Contract Type: Independent Contractor
- Period: 1-month trial period, with a subsequent 6-month renewable contract.
- Location: Completely remote
- Compensation: 2000 USD/month
- Schedule: 40hrs week / M-F with Flexibility
- Up to 20 days off per year within the contract.
- For positions, fluency in Spanish and at least a B2 level of English is required.*
*Note: Certificates are received (Michigan, IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge), the certificate may be expired, if you do not have an English certificate, proof of proficiency will be sent.
