Testimonials
We've been running AIM Grantmaking since 2022. Here are a few anonymous testimonials from prior participants:
"It is too hard to capture the full effect of this course in a short paragraph. It has changed the lens I use to look at world. It has started growth, both personal and professional, that will continue for a lifetime."
"Joining the program increased my confidence in making grant decisions. I learned the different ways of thinking about and implementing a grant program. I like that it didn’t just tell me what to do, but rather showed us how to think about our approach."
"This program covered all the most important elements of running a foundation, from the macro (Scope and Leverage) to the medio (Strategy and Structure) to the micro (Vetting and Decision Making). The format (mix of online discussions, mini-projects, and in-person week) made the course highly interactive, practical, and fun! I know that many of the tools we learned and applied will shape me into an even more effective grantmaker."
"This program taught me how to approach grantmaking decisions more methodically, while also learning immensely from the group's diverse perspectives."
"Beyond effectiveness, this program helps you to thoroughly think through how to structure an end-to-end process for grant-making, while learning best practices and sharing learnings from some of the best people in this space."
"Deep gratitude to the whole team. I am definitely in a much better place now than before. I know I'll be a better steward of the org thanks to the work you did."
