Strategy Roles - Fortify Health

By Tony Senanayake @ 2026-07-07T06:31 (+7)

Fortify Health is at an exciting acceleration point. Please see this post to learn more about the work we've done and how we're thinking about the future.

Fortify Health is working to reduce iron-deficiency anaemia through hassle-free fortification. As an organisation, we're now reaching more than 20 million beneficiaries on a monthly basis and, excitingly, have been expanding our work with government partners across India at a rapid pace over the last six months.

We're now working on a genuinely hard but exciting question: how can we cost-effectively amplify our impact over the next two-plus years? This is an open-ended question driving considerations about expansion globally, as well as amplification of the work we're already doing in India with a team of more than a hundred high-quality professionals. To help us think through these big questions, we're looking to bring on a number of individuals:

  1. A full-time Strategic Initiatives Manager or Senior Manager who can work closely with me, the Chief Executive Officer, and our Chief of Staff to oversee our Strategic Initiatives team and these big questions over a long period of time, from ideation to experimentation and implementation.
  2. A six-month Strategy Consultant who will work directly on the short-term questions as we conduct a broad landscape assessment of high-impact, cost-effective interventions we may want to experiment with.
  3. A CEO's Office Associate who would work closely with me and our Chief of Staff to ensure the day-to-day running of our executive functions, fundraising, strategic communications, stakeholder engagement, and preparation for international conferences can be maintained during this period of rapid strategic exploration.

We generally have a preference for candidates who are based in India but are open to international candidates. We've provided indicative compensation and tried to design the job descriptions to be as self-explanatory as possible. Given the general time constraints we're facing as an organisation at this point, we may not be able to respond to all queries or requests for a call, but I'd highly encourage anyone interested in the roles to apply.

If these roles aren't right for you, I'd encourage you to follow our website and newsletter, as we'll likely be hiring for many additional generalist roles in the next six months.
