EA Global Live Broadcast

Welcome to the EA Global live broadcast!
During this time of social distancing, when many community events have been canceled, we hope this broadcast can serve as a gathering point for EAs around the world.
Our live host will be streaming content from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM Pacific Time this weekend, March 21st and 22nd.
You can see the full agenda for the broadcast here.
You can watch the broadcast directly from this Forum page, or on YouTube.
While you are waiting for the broadcast to start, we encourage registered attendees to set up one-on-one meetings in Grip. We still think that individual connections between attendees are one of the most valuable aspects of the conference, and we don’t want to sacrifice that just because we aren’t gathering in person.
If you aren't a registered attendee, consider using this page to find potential meetings.
Keep your eye on this video; the broadcast continues on Sunday at 10:30 am PST!

I vote for having one remote EAG every year. This is great as far as I'm concerned!

Is there an official place for real-time chat among virtual attendees? If not, would it be okay for me to create an unofficial Discord or similar? Again, absolutely amazing work putting this together so quickly Amy.

There's also a real-time chat on the YouTube page

The "EA Corner" Discord has quite a few users and an ea-global channel set aside for live conversation, but it's a community project and isn't linked to CEA.
Jemma @ 2020-03-22T21:05 (+1)
Thanks Aaron! I'd love to join that Discord, but the link says that the invitation has expired.
Aaron Gertler @ 2020-03-23T07:52 (+2)
Sorry about that! I've replaced the previous link with one that should never expire.

We’re excited to announce that meeting slots have been extended all the way through to next Sunday, March 29 so please continue to make new connections and schedule one-on-one meetings.

We hope you’ve enjoyed participating in the first-ever EA Global virtual conference. We’d really value your feedback to help us plan more virtual events for the EA community over the coming months.
If you're short on time, you can complete this survey in about 5 minutes, but the more detail you can provide in the open text questions, the better.
Take the survey now at https://efctv.org/virtual

In the future, can we please have breaks between talks?
BarryGrimes @ 2020-03-22T09:29 (+4)
Thanks for the suggestion! Because of the time zone differences, we've squeezed as much content as possible into a 4 hour window. However, if you're watching live on YouTube you can pause the broadcast at any time, and then catch up again by watching at 1.5x speed.
We'll be sending out a feedback survey after the Sunday broadcast, and we'd be really grateful to hear about people's experiences and suggestions.
I'll post the survey link here when it's live.
