About Suvita

Suvita is an impact-driven, evidence-based nonprofit focused on increasing uptake of routine childhood vaccinations in India. Roughly half of the 19 million children who still miss basic vaccines are based in India, where one child dies every four minutes from vaccine-preventable diseases. We run two rigorously tested, complementary programs:

  1. Immunization ambassadors: We identify and train local opinion leaders to volunteer as vaccination advocates to share reminders with families in their communities.
  2. SMS reminders: We send personalised SMS messages to caregivers to prompt timely attendance at government clinics.

Since our founding in September 2019:

About the Role

Suvita is hiring a mission-driven, detail-oriented operator to keep our internal systems running smoothly and help the rest of the team thrive. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in being the go-to person others rely on—solving problems quickly, managing vendors and logistics, and making sure the small things never fall through the cracks.

You’ll coordinate travel, handle reimbursements, track equipment, and support events and team logistics—while steadily improving how these systems work. Whether it’s tightening up a payment workflow or making vendor management more efficient, you’ll have day-to-day autonomy and ownership over how your work gets done. You'll also help the team navigate our internal systems and processes with ease.

This role is ideal for someone who’s highly dependable, quietly proud of making things run well, and eager to improve existing workflows. Over time, you may grow into broader ownership of operational systems as Suvita scales. If you love helping others succeed by building reliable, behind-the-scenes support systems, we’d love to hear from you.

Who you are

What we offer

Our mission drives everything we do: delivering evidence-grounded programmes that raise childhood vaccination rates and save lives. Our shared purpose fosters a culture of genuine care—people look out for one another, challenge assumptions, and welcome fresh perspectives.

At Suvita, you’ll join a mission-driven team rooted in strong values, with a dynamic and focused way of working that gets results. Most of us are based across India, with a few teammates overseas, so we lean on clear communication and regular check-ins to stay connected. We have social chai-pakoda hangouts and chai-nalanda sessions to learn new skills or ideas. You’ll have pretty typical working hours with flexibility for family or personal commitments
