BERI seeking new collaborators

Berkeley Existential Risk Initiative (BERI) is expanding our offerings to provide free services to a wider set of university-affiliated groups and projects, and we’re now accepting applications from groups and individuals interested in receiving our support.

If you’re a member of a research group, or an individual researcher, working on long-termist projects, I encourage you to apply. If you know anyone who might be interested, please share this with them!

BERI is a public charity whose mission is to improve human civilization’s long-term prospects for survival and flourishing. We’ve been working with university groups since 2017, and have provided over $1 million of administrative and operational support on long-termist projects with groups at UC Berkeley, Oxford, and Cambridge.

For more information on what we do for our collaborators, see our FAQ.
Particularly in light of COVID-19, we’re standing ready to help people try out new ways of getting things done.
