Success of this initiative means bringing a point-of-care blood lead test to market that is:

• Non-invasive (capillary rather than venous blood)
• Affordable (<$3 per test)
• Accurate
• Deployable in non-clinical settings

We are looking for a highly entrepreneurial mid-career technologist who is driven to solve the problem of lead measurement. Qualities we are excited to see in candidates include:

• Deep understanding of diagnostic technology development and commercialization pathways
• Ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders, with a particular focus on diagnostics startups and large pharmaceutical companies
• Track record of bringing ambitious projects from concept to reality
• Strong judgment in evaluating scientific approaches and teams
