About the Project

We are piloting a 6–9 month coworking and community hub in New York City to support professionals focused on AI safety, animal welfare, effective giving, and other high-impact causes. The space will provide a productive, professional environment and serve as a hub for collaboration across events and programs.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Community Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the coworking hub. This person will play a vital role in shaping the member experience — combining warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism to create an environment where people feel both welcome and able to focus on their work. The Community Manager will act as both host and steward of the space: greeting members and guests, fostering a sense of connection, and keeping operations running smoothly.

Diversity and Inclusion

We are committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion. We welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of background.

There is evidence to suggest that women and people of color are less likely to apply for jobs unless they believe they meet every one of the qualifications as described in the job description. If this role speaks to you, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t believe you tick all the boxes. We’d especially like to encourage people from underrepresented backgrounds to apply.

There’s no such thing as a “perfect” candidate. If you’re on the fence about applying because you’re unsure whether you’re qualified, we’d encourage you to apply.
