Brief advertisements for EA infrastructure projects, Sept 2024

By Arepo @ 2024-09-07T05:23 (+85)

This is the latest of a theoretically-three-monthly series of posts advertising EA infrastructure projects that struggle to get and maintain awareness (see original advertising post for more on the rationale).

Italicised projects have been added since the previous post was originally submitted

Bolded projects have been edited in to this post since I first posted it, so you can easily see them if you revisit it

On with the adverts:

Support services for EAs

Online coworking/socialising

Free or subsidised accommodation

Mental Health

Coaching

Freelancing support

Support services for EA organisations

Marketing

Evaluation/donation support

Operations/strategy

Governance

Research

General writing support

General tech support

General legal support

Apps

Inclusion criteria

The approximate criteria are as follows (as ever, open to discussion, and if there's something you think is essential to let people know about which doesn't strictly fit, feel free to suggest it - for eg the house database doesn't technically qualify, but seemed too valuable to omit):

Also, let me know if I should remove any resources or edit any of the descriptions. I've checked it for broken links but haven't done any further editing. As ever, feel free to message me and let me know if some resource or organisation should be added to the list. Also let me know if you know prices for any of the paid services. I don't have bandwidth to track them all down, but I think it's useful info.

Finally if you think that these organisations deserve more exposure but don't want to give me free karma for a relatively low-effort post, please consider strong upvoting this post and strong downvoting this karma sink comment.

Please downvote this comment if you want to signal boost the organisations in the OP without giving me unearned karma.

I think posts should get karma based on the value provided not the effort put in, hence why I'm upvoting this comment.

Do you get 1 karma just for posting this comment? 😂

Arepo @ 2024-09-08T07:26 (+4)

It gets an auto-upvote from me, but I'm pretty sure that it doesn't affect my overall karma score

(though entertainingly given it's non-negative karma after six votes, a few people must have upvoted it :)
