A few months ago, I published a series of essays on AGI and the catastrophic consequences its emergence — or creation — will have for humanity. Those essays have now been developed into a complete book, which I invite you to read:

While I’m exploring traditional publishing, the odds of success are low. I’m uncredentialled, unknown, and have no academic background to speak of. But regardless of whether it’s ever published formally, some version of this book will always be free to read, right here.

There may one day be a more polished edition available for sale — but I’m not trying to profit. Publishing, for me, is a means to an end: to make the ideas public, to force the conversation that isn’t happening, and to ensure the logic can be tested by anyone, not just gatekeepers.

There will never be a paywall between you and this argument. All I ask is that if you choose to engage, you read at least the first chapter.
