By Milan_A @ 2025-12-30T18:09 (+2)

Applications open! The submission deadline is 2026 January 11th (Sunday), 23:59 CET.

Please note that this opportunity runs in parallel with EA Hungary’s hiring round, and the considerations for this role depend on whether EA Hungary finds a suitable candidate for their in-person Operations Lead position. In case of a successful hiring round at EA Hungary, the responsibilities described below would be covered by the new Operations Lead.

Role Summary

Scaling Altruism is currently managed by Milán Alexy, with Lili Csabai (former Operations Lead) and Gergő Gáspár (founder of EA Hungary, Director at EA UK) serving as advisors. We are looking for a highly driven Operations Lead who ensures our current programs run smoothly and facilitates the implementation of new, impactful projects in the future.

As an Operations Lead, you would oversee all main processes of Scaling Altruism, lead the development and coordination of our courses, manage our CRM, and deliver our mailings, including our monthly newsletter.

Salary: 15-30 USD/hour (pre-tax) depending on experience level
Location: Remote (preferred timezone: CET)
Workload: 15-30 hours/week

Our mission

Scaling Altruism was launched with the intention to support local EA community builders in their outreach efforts by reducing their operations workload related to running courses. By coordinating courses centrally, we help group organisers reduce their workload and shift their focus towards other activities. We aim to scale up the project to accommodate more groups and deliver a larger portfolio of programs.
