Does Effective Altruism have a graphic standards/brand style/brand identity guide?

Hey all,

I'm currently a part of a Facebook group called Effective Environmentalism, an online community of individuals interested in discussing sustainability through an EA lens.

Recently, I was contacted by a group admin to see if I would like to help out with creating a logo for the community.

Keeping with the EA brand, we were thinking of modifying the current EA logo to include a green leaf instead of a heart, but seeing as I couldn't find any guideline concerning the proper usage of the logo on this forum or elsewhere, I'm not sure whether such modifications are permitted. Perhaps I'm just not looking in the right places?

Some questions:

• Does Effective Altruism have a graphic standards/brand style/brand identity guide? --Please see Dell's Brand Standards and IEEE's "Master Brand and Logos" webpage, as examples of what I'm referring to.
• If not, should EffectiveAltruism.org have a graphic standards guide?
• Without such a guide, any individual is assumed to be permitted to modify/manipulate the current Effective Altruism logo and/or visually represent the EffectiveAltruism.org brand however they see fit.
• Such a guide would also clarify what fonts, colors, and/or graphic layouts should be used in association with the EffectiveAltruism.org brand.
• If the EA community wishes to maintain a more visually cohesive brand as it grows and becomes more widely recognizable, I believe this is an important conversation to have.
• If not, how should current local or online chapters of the EA community utilize the current EA logo?
• Over the years, it seems there's been quite a few different EA logos /interpretations of the current EA logo created by local chapters of the EA community. For example:
• EA Syndey's Logo
• EA Australia's Logo
• EA Stockholm's Logo
• Without any kind of guideline, it's difficult for individuals, like myself, to gauge how much freedom we have when it comes to designing an logo for an organization that is associated with the wider EA community.

Just looking for some guidance and hopefully provoke some thoughtful discussion. If this has been discussed before, feel free to provide a link below. Thanks!
