Magnify Mentoring has three related workstreams (Community,  Mentorship, and Recruitment). You will primarily assist the CEO with the Recruitment workstream. Many Magnify Mentoring mentees are looking for high-impact opportunities and we frequently receive requests for tailored candidate referrals from impactful organizations. Kathryn (CEO) Note:

We are a small team who work together closely to provide mentorship to around 200 people per year. Magnify tends to go through periods of being very busy, where the main focus of our work is matching and setting up effective and productive mentoring relationships, followed by lulls in activity where we focus on strengthening our programs to deliver excellent support to our mentees and mentors. If you are excited to independently identify problems and opportunities for impact, bring them to our attention, and help fix them, we would love to hear from you.

Much of our work relies on warm relationships and the ability to cultivate and maintain good faith and positive interactions. This is particularly true of this role, and I would love to see people who have prior teaching or mentoring experience apply.

Magnify is a very kind community. If you are used to working well with a lot of different people with different ideas on how to make the world better, and pride yourself on being caring and supportive, you might be a great fit for us!

Thank you very much for your time.
