EA Connect 2025, CEA's virtual conference, will take place on 5–7 December

Join EAs from over 75 countries for three days of learning and connection, all from wherever you are in the world. EA Connect 2025 removes the barriers of travel, visas, and geography, making it easier than ever to engage with the global EA community and discover your next steps for impact.

If you've been accepted for an EAG, EAGx, or Summit this year, you are extremely likely to be accepted to EA Connect 2025!

Vision for the conference

EA Connect 2025 is our most accessible EA Global conference of the year, designed to help attendees identify their next steps, take meaningful action wherever they are, and strengthen bonds within the global EA community.

Many people living outside major EA hubs face uncertainties about how to get involved:

• They might not have a clear picture of the EA landscape
• They may be unsure who to connect with
• They may face constraints like a lack of nearby EA conferences, travel costs, or visa restrictions

We aim to bridge these gaps by:

• Facilitating valuable group connections and networking opportunities
• Showcasing relevant opportunities and resources at our careers fair
• Featuring speakers who are driving impactful projects

The event will feature a mix of talks, workshops, live Q&A sessions, office hours with experts, and structured networking—all designed for participants in diverse contexts and time zones.

What to expect

Last year’s EAGxVirtual 2024 brought together 1,000+ participants from 75+ countries, resulting in hundreds of new connections and collaborations. For EA Connect 2025, we aim to build on that success with:

• Action-oriented content relevant across cause areas
• A 24/7 virtual venue for unstructured conversations, socials, and private meetings
• Programming designed to work for multiple time zones

Mentoring

Many newer attendees are eager to learn but hesitant to reach out. That's why we want to feature a list of experienced EAs who are excited to share knowledge and offer advice and resources. By signing up, you would agree to participate in the upcoming conference and become a highlighted mentor on Swapcard, our event platform.

As a mentor, your profile would be recommended to mentees in the program, so they are encouraged to request 1-on-1s with you. Being a mentor doesn't obligate you to accept meetings. You can accept requests when you think it's a good fit and good use of your time. Mentoring can be incredibly rewarding, offering fresh perspectives and expanding your own network.
