ENAIS is becoming the AGI Preparedness Network. We are hiring a Program Manager to lead Better Futures and AIS Collab, strengthen delivery systems, and use program evidence to guide future development and fundraising.

The Better Futures Fellowship is in active delivery with established curriculum and operations support. You will lead execution and build the systems the program needs to improve and grow.

The Programs

Better Futures is a nine-week fellowship: five weeks of facilitated discussion followed by a four-week guided project phase. Participants examine futures shaped by advanced AI and develop projects in preparedness, governance, research, or field-building.

AIS Collab provides the recruitment and cohort infrastructure. Across 10 program iterations, it has received 2,288 applications, trained 185 facilitators, worked with more than 65 local groups, and reached participants in more than 30 countries.

Better Futures and AIS Collab are your initial priorities.

What You Will Own

You will be accountable for planning and delivery across Better Futures. This includes:

• Maintain the program plan, budget, risks, and key decisions.
• Coordinate the Operations Coordinator, Curriculum Lead, facilitators, mentors, and external support.
• Make routine program decisions within the agreed strategy and budget.
• Use participant feedback, program data, and project outcomes to improve each cohort.
• Improve the systems, documentation, and handovers that support delivery.
• Assess partnerships and future program opportunities.
• Lead program fundraising, with board support on strategy and funder relationships.

The Operations Coordinator leads recurring administration and participant communication. The Curriculum Lead leads curriculum quality and facilitator preparation. You will keep delivery aligned, resolve gaps, and use results to guide the next stage of the programs.

What You'll Focus on First

• Operating handover and establishing a clear working rhythm with the team and board.
• Take over ongoing delivery and evaluation, and prepare the next Better Futures cohort.
• Plan future cohorts using evidence from current delivery.
• Set up clear outcome reporting and cost tracking.
• Build a fundraising plan, using results from delivery to support future applications.

What We Are Looking For

• You have led a program, cohort, community, or multi-stakeholder project. 
• You can turn goals into a workable plan and adapt when circumstances change.
• You communicate clearly, manage deadlines, budgets, and use feedback and program data to make decisions.
• Experience in AI safety or AGI preparedness is helpful. We also welcome people from adjacent fields who can learn the context quickly and show sound judgment.

Experience with any of the following would be helpful:

• Program fundraising, grant reporting, or partnerships.
• Facilitator, mentor, or contractor coordination.
• Participant support and outcome evaluation.
• Airtable, Asana, HubSpot, or similar operating systems.

Role Details

• Location: Remote, with reliable overlap with European working hours.
• Commitment: 30-40 hrs per week. 
• Compensation: USD 82,000-90,000 annualized, prorated for the agreed schedule. For the initial six-month term, this equals USD 41,000-45,000.
• Contract: This is intended as a longer-term role, beginning with a 6 month contractor agreement. Continuation will depend on program outcomes, available funding, and mutual fit.
• Start: Preferred start in the first week of November 2026.
