Solving the "Last-Mile" Hiring Bottleneck: Offering a Free Recruiting Trial Run

Hi everyone,

Many high-impact organizations face a paradoxical problem: they have excellent visibility on job boards like 80,000 Hours and Probably Good, but they lack the internal bandwidth to process the resulting hundreds of applications. This "last-mile" bottleneck—screening, technical vetting, and interview coordination—often leads to high-priority roles sitting open for months.

To "red-team" our own process and gather evidence of efficacy for our application, we are looking to partner with 1–2 organizations for a free "trial run" of our services.

What we are offering

We aren't just another sourcing agency. We focus on the "heavy lifting" after the candidates have already applied:

The "Why"

We are applying for an $80k pilot grant via Coefficient Giving/Open Philanthropy. We want to move from "we think this will work" to "we’ve already done this for [Org X] and it saved them 20 hours of founder time."

Who this is for

Ideally, you are an organization working in GCR (AI Safety, Biosecurity, etc.) or EA Meta that currently has:

  1. An active, high-priority role with a backlog of applicants.
  2. Limited internal HR/Recruiting capacity to move those applicants through the funnel.

If you’re interested in a zero-cost "burst" of recruiting capacity to help clear your hiring backlog, please comment below or reach out via DM. We’d love to see if we can help you close a role while we validate our model.
