Here are a few key results:
-Language barriers are prevalent, especially for native Spanish speakers
-64% of advocates struggle to find research relevant to their region
-Advocates want a wide variety of research, including social change theory and impact tracking.
-Latine advocates use research the most to make strategic decisions, and less so for movement building
-0% of Latine advocates said they don't read any research at all (yay!)

These results should add more evidence to what many already know: the animal advocacy movement in LATAM needs more funding, research, and support. In particular, we need to prioritize more translations (both language translation and knowledge translations) and more region-specific research, if we want to maximize the impact for animals in this crucial region.
