Applications are now open for EAGxSingapore 2025

We’re excited to announce that applications for this year’s EAGxSingapore are now open! 

EAGxSingapore 2025 brings together 250 attendees from across Southeast and East Asia for a transformative two-day conference in the heart of Singapore.

It’s an amazing opportunity to interact and deepen connections with engaged community members in the effective altruism (EA) movement who have been actively thinking about and working on EA cause areas. 

This event is also a dedicated space for thoughtful conversations and an opportunity to explore in-depth EA ideas and gain clarity on how to take concrete next steps to further increase your impact.

Who should apply?

Deadline of applications will be on October 20, 2025 (GMT+0)

We encourage you to apply if you:

• have spent time engaging with the core ideas of EA and thinking about ways to apply these principles in your career
• have engaged with the global and local EA community and are looking to contribute and find collaborations in EA communities in Asia
• hope to utilize your knowledge of EA to make impactful contributions in the EA community in the region
• wish to engage in constructive discussions and expand connections to learn more about EA

As a regional conference, we prioritize attendees from Southeast and East Asia. If in doubt, do err on the side of applying. 

The application takes just 15–30 minutes. 

What to expect

This year’s EAGxSingapore will feature:

• Talks and workshops on various EA cause areas—as well as meta topics and sessions on skills-building
• Meet-ups for specific cause areas and minority groups
• Social activities for connection-building

The full agenda will be shared closer to the event through Swapcard, our event app, where you can also arrange 1-on-1 meetings and connect with other attendees.

Travel assistance available

Funding is available to support travel to the conference for those who would not be able to attend otherwise. The maximum support available depends on your location. 

You can apply for financial assistance for your travel expenses in the application form. Please check our travel support policy for more details.

Due to limited funding, we recommend that you apply for travel support as soon as possible in order to secure your funding and to allow earlier, lower-cost booking.
