Advice on people management from EA Global

At EAG London this week we ran a discussion between people managers at which we encouraged people to share with each other the most useful checklists/templates/guides/policies people have for managing people. It was great to see the ways other people were approaching management. A couple of people made their documents about onboarding new staff members publicly shareable, so we thought others in the broader community might benefit from reading them. Links below!

Sharing these kinds of checklists and templates is a pretty quick win for benefiting others in the community. Please do share anything some of yours in the comments. If you’re a manager at an EA org hoping to improve your management, we hope to see you at the next EAG manager meet up!

I've found versions of the Ben Readme document called "how to work with me" or "manuals of me" docs particularly useful. This is suggested by Notes on "Managing to Change the World", which links to Why you should write a “how to work with me” user manual.
