Effective Altruism Summit: Los Angeles is an effective altruism (EA) conference that will take place this November 22 at UCLA. Whether you’re just beginning your EA journey or have been engaged in high-impact work for years, this Summit will be an exciting opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations, explore a wide range of cause areas, and discover new ways to do the most good. We’re especially focused on supporting new EAs, connecting them with experienced mentors, and building a vibrant, diverse community.

Who is this conference for?
EA Summit: LA is organized especially for newcomers to the EA community, and for highly-engaged members who are excited to support, mentor, and connect with them.
This summit is for people who are ready to take action and explore how effective altruism (EA) principles can guide meaningful decisions in their work and lives. We welcome:
- Newcomers to EA, whether you've never heard of effective altruism or are just starting to explore its ideas.
- Highly-engaged community members, especially those interested in mentoring newcomers and contributing their expertise.
- Students, professionals, and curious individuals from any background, who are eager to learn how to do good more effectively.
Why attend?
EA Summit events have a track record of fostering new connections in the effective altruism community. They’re designed to be especially welcoming and informative for people who are new to EA, with a strong focus on learning, exploration, and personal growth. Attendees often leave with the knowledge, encouragement, or support they need to apply for a job, internship, or program that furthers their development.

Registration is now open and will close on November 8. The default ticket price is $46, with a $12 discounted option available.
