EAGx India is back for its third consecutive year this December. If you're interested in being part of the core team, 

This expression of interest form takes 15 minutes. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. 

This event will host 300 attendees with a higher focus on careers, collaborations, and funding, compared to previous EAGx conferences. The content will be targeted at addressing gaps that Indian members struggle with in EA such as localised career advice through career workshops and expert panels, cause-specific career lightning talks and conversations on funding pathways to support and sustain efforts.

CEA has approved funding for this event and it is expected to take place in December this year.

Pay: 24 USD/hr (for those based in India). For international applicants, the rate will change depending on their region.

Who would be a good fit:

• You stay up-to-date on your topics of interest
• You’re well-informed about EA and can answer "Why EA?" for yourself and others
• ⁠You're proactive and have fast response times
• You can handle tech troubleshooting if and when required

Bonus, if you have:

• Deep working knowledge in one or more cause areas within effective altruism (such as existential risks, global health and poverty, animal welfare etc)
• Experience organising and running events such as discussions, talks, socials or seminars
• Experience in public speaking, social media, and/or writing articles
• Strong network within India relevant to work on emerging technologies and global catastrophic risks

Many excellent candidates will have some (but not all) of these characteristics, and we encourage you to apply even if you do not have all of the characteristics listed.
