High Impact Professionals (HIP) is launching a brand new Entrepreneurship Track inside our Impact Accelerator Program (IAP). It’s built specifically for experienced professionals who are considering starting their own high-impact organization, whether that means founding a high-impact non-profit or for-profit organization, or starting a Founding to Give company.

Applications for the next IAP round are now open until Sunday, June 7. To apply for the Entrepreneurship Track, simply select the Entrepreneurship option within the main IAP application.

Why We're Launching The Entrepreneurship Track

We’ve now run eight rounds of the IAP, and one pattern has stood out: some of the biggest impact came from participants starting their own organizations.

To date, IAP alumni have:

It’s clear that entrepreneurship is a core path to impact for many IAP participants. Given our unique combination of an impact-focused community of experienced professionals, tailored feedback and guidance, peer support, and history of helping to launch new organizations, we believe we’re well positioned to support more aspiring high-impact entrepreneurs. The IAP Entrepreneurship Track therefore felt like the logical next step.

Program Overview

The IAP Entrepreneurship Track includes everything inside the core Impact Accelerator Program. Plus, exclusively for Entrepreneurship Track participants:

Whether you’re a successful entrepreneur already who’s interested in pivoting towards founding a high-impact organization, or someone who’s been quietly considering entrepreneurship for a while, we encourage you to apply.

How Does This Differ From Other Entrepreneurial Programs?

The IAP: Entrepreneurship Track acts as a compliment to many other high-impact entrepreneurship programs. In fact, many IAP alumni have subsequently gone on to complete other entrepreneurial programs and incubators, including Charity Entrepreneurship, Catalyze Impact, and more. We're looking forward to supporting even more people entering these great programs.

Who Should Apply to the Entrepreneurship Track

The IAP Entrepreneurship Track is designed for experienced professionals who are seriously considering starting their own high-impact organization. That includes:

As with the core IAP, you’ll get the most value from the program if you:

You don’t need to have your idea fully formed or a co-founder lined up. If you're seriously exploring entrepreneurship as a path to impact, this track is for you.

Note that these are guidelines rather than hard requirements. If you feel you would benefit from the program but aren’t sure you fit the criteria, we encourage you to apply anyway.

Hi, cool program! A few questions:

'The IAP: Entrepreneurship Track acts as a compliment to many other high-impact entrepreneurship programs. In fact, many IAP alumni have subsequently gone on to complete other entrepreneurial programs and incubators...'

So, is this new program a kind of a pre-cursor to those programs? How does the content differ (besides you covering AI safety, which I think AIM doesn't)?

Also, who's facilitating the Entrepreneurship Track?

Thanks for great questions!

This track came directly out of observing that entrepreneurship was a successful career path for many participants in the IAP, without specific marketing to founders, tailored content or cohort groupings. Some have used the IAP as a launchpad into programs like Charity Entrepreneurship or Catalyze Impact, while others have gone straight to founding their own organisations. We expect the same to be true for the Entrepreneurship Track.

One thing that distinguishes the IAP from many other programs is the broader focus on community support and a structured way of identifying and overcoming personal blockers, in addition to making concrete progress on your top career option.

As for facilitators, we're still finalising this, but expect IAP alumni who've gone on to found organisations themselves, alongside other high-impact founders with impressive track records.
