Lots of team building activities are being planned!

Who it’s for:

The Ebro river around the corner from the villa (weather permitting - July in Aragón can be very sunny... or surprise storms!)

Food and accommodation are covered. Most participants will need to cover their own travel, but we may be able to offer financial support where needed.

You can find more details about the retreat here, and a draft schedule of activities here

Footnotes:

  1. ^

Historically, there was another retreat organized by Pablo Melchor, Jaime Sevilla and Pablo Villalobos in 2019, which featured around 12 attendees mostly from Madrid. It included some goal setting and reflection activities, rationality-style exercises and lightning talks. "Getting vegan food in Extremadura was a nightmare!" they told us.

The first EA retreat in Spain was hosted in June, 2019 in Cáceres.

Fastforward to 2025, when there are now active hubs in Madrid and Barcelona, as well as a number of individuals engaged in the movement dotted around the country. We're excited to bring a decent-sized group together under the same roof for one special weekend, as we think it'll be a great chance to update on what everyone is doing, spark new ideas, and start building towards having a more consolidated EA Spain community.
